A Branch in Malta

Any body corporate, whatever its type, constituted or incorporated outside Malta and which establishes a branch or a place of business in Malta would be required to register in Malta as an ‘oversea company’ within a month of its establishment of a branch or place of business in Malta.

Such registration as an oversea company would be procured by the submission to the Malta Registrar of Companies of certain prescribed documents including an authentic copy of the charter, statute or memorandum and articles of the relevant body corporate and a list of its directors and company secretary, if any, or of the persons vested with its administration and representation.
